Gord grew up in the Toronto area in a Christian family. He became a believer at a young age and has enjoyed serving in different congregations over the last many years. After marrying, Gord started his teaching career in Ottawa where he has lived for more than 30 years. Gord is a proud husband and father to 3 beautiful daughters.
Now mostly retired, Gord keeps busy with volunteer work and handyman jobs around his home. He enjoys walking his dog, biking, kayaking and spending time with his family. He currently serves on the Board of Jericho Road Ministries, a christian based, residential addiction treatment center.
As a committed member of Messiah West Church, Gord enjoys volunteering in a number of roles. He looks forward to serving on the Diocesan Council and asks for prayer and wisdom in this role.
