Campus Network

About our Canadian Anglican Campus Network.

The Canadian Anglican Campus Network (CACN) is a national initiative designed to cast vision, network relationships, and equip leaders among Anglican students, clergy, chaplains, and ministry practitioners serving Canadian colleges and universities. The initiative seeks to develop a collaborative network to support campus ministry in Canada and look to the ACNA’s emerging Anglican Campus Fellowship as a resource.

The vision is to cultivate a connected and mission-minded Anglican presence on Canadian campuses that forms students as disciples of Jesus Christ and leaders in the Church and society. The mission is to connect, equip, and encourage Anglican students, chaplains, clergy, and ministry leaders serving in post- secondary contexts for witness, discipleship, and leadership development across Canada.

The Anglican Campus Fellowship Network would focus on three primary objectives:

  1. Vision
Create a shared vision for Anglican ministry in Canadian higher education. This includes exploring the role of Anglican witness on campus. Renewing commitment to student discipleship and evangelism. Encouraging leadership development among young adults. Identifying the unique contributions of Anglican theology, worship, and community life within the university context.

  2. Network
Network meaningful relationships among those involved in Anglican campus ministry in our diocese. Participants may include diocesan representatives, chaplains, parish clergy working in campus ministry contexts, lay campus ministers, students, and faculty members.

  3. Equip
Provide resources and encouragement for those serving in campus ministry with students. Areas of equipping may include, evangelism, discipleship and small-group leadership Anglican campus formation, vocational discernment, emerging adult spirituality, leadership development and discern ministry opportunities.
